Persia Paya Mined Company (Mining Project Management) was established in 2011 as a private joint-stock company with registration number 417771 in the mining and mineral industries sector. We believe that development starts with mining, and a skilled workforce is a critical prerequisite for defining mining projects. The importance of making effective decisions at the right time and having the financial and managerial infrastructure in place to execute these decisions is the foundation of a forward-thinking and entrepreneurial organization. Additionally, our responsibility towards our commitments as one of the largest suppliers of calcined magnesium oxide has enabled us to continuously serve as a consultant and partner alongside consumers of this valuable material, playing a key role in market development. Objectives and Areas of Activity: Systematic exploration and prospecting, proper and economical extraction, and utilization. Processing and production of the final product with the least transportation cost. Training and development of skilled and specialized human resources. Potential identification, introduction, and definition of mining projects. Technical and economic evaluation of mining plans and attracting potential investments. Company History: The definition of an economic entity based on mining and mineral industries as the main goal of establishing the company led to the initiation of exploration and the review of mineral licenses and areas from the outset. These visits, expert analysis, and evaluations across Iran led to the signing of the first mining contract in Sistan and Baluchestan province and the introduction to mining and the market for magnesium as a strategic mineral. After identifying the opportunities and shortcomings related to the extraction and processing of magnesium, exploration and the study of related processing methods were prioritized. The acquisition of two exploitation licenses and the construction of the first mechanized processing line for the production of granular magnesium in 2013 in South Khorasan province marked the company’s entry into the specialized field of magnesium and magnesium oxide. The construction of calcination furnaces, micronization units, packaging, the development and modernization of the processing line, the expansion of calcined material warehouses, the development of mining machinery, gas supply, and the conversion of the roasting furnace to gas-fired systems have been completed and are now operational as part of developmental and complementary projects in recent years. Given the numerous pilot projects and field studies conducted, the development of the high-grade magnesium oxide processing and production line is one of the major ongoing projects. Mines and Mining Licenses: The company currently holds two exploitation licenses and two exploration areas for magnesium. The Sultanabad Bechand mine, with a production capacity of 30,000 tons of magnesium per year, including calcination and micronization units, as well as the most advanced processing unit with over 50 employees, is one of the largest and most comprehensive mining and industrial projects related to magnesium in the country. This mine is located 35 kilometers from the city of Nehbandan, near the Bechand village.
